Service

Lock In provides tools for scheduling timed commitments, optional alerts, location-assisted verification, progress tracking, and optional social accountability. Use of the app is voluntary. Services and features can change with new versions.

Safety

You are responsible for using the app safely. Never interact with your phone while driving or operating machinery, and do not attempt unsafe activities to satisfy a commitment. The app is not an emergency alert system. GPS, battery, network, permissions and iOS system limitations can affect tracking and alarms.

Community rules

If social features are enabled, do not impersonate others, spam members, harass people, publish threats, share unlawful content, solicit personal data or circumvent moderation controls. You may report content and block members. We may remove violating content or restrict access.

Results

Commitment results and social rankings are tools for personal accountability. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, shared social results are self-reported. They are not independently audited competition results. No monetary penalties are charged by the current app version.

Account and privacy

You can use local features without a cloud account. A social account may be required for optional cloud features. See the Privacy Policy and deletion information.
